I was in far too rotten a mood to post on my blog as I would have probably moaned about something, or just gone on a rant. So I spared you all my grief and skipped a day.
Out of interest, nothing incredibly exceiting happened on Monday. Joel brought American Dad and Family Guy in to the office for me as he saw on the blog that I had missed them in order to attend dinner and have my hair cut. So I was grateful for that. Family Guy was pretty mediocre this week and, as having happened once in a blue moon, was outdone by American Dad. Simpsons delivered as expected, another 17th Season storyline riddled with
Enough about cartoons :p In the real world I was (metaphorically) shot in the foot. Already standing with little to no self motivation to support me, missing a foot was probably not a good idea. So now one footed and with about as much motivation to work as a RMTU member (too soon?) I am now devoting both my hands, eyes and at least one nostrel to the task ahead... which was behind, but is now ahead... again. So for last time, I am 'refactoring' my work. If this doesn't go down any better, then there's going to have to be a compromise.
So now that the ugly side of the post is out of the way, I can look forward to getting this all done, ensure I am happy with all relating aspects of my work and go to the Mariners game with Jess. Joel said only 4,000 people were in the ground yesterday to watch the Ms beat Tamba Bay Devil Rays 6-3, and apparently there will be fewer on Wednesday. Fine by me. Less queuing for beer and food!
For all those interested, my flight back to England is on Thusday afternoon. Flight AC8096 leaving Seattle at 15:35, getting in to Vancouver at 16:25, then on to flight AC854 at 17:55 arriving in Heathrow T3 on Friday 12th at 11:35am. So that will give me time to get a bus over to Twickenham and go visit the caretakers at Waldegrave cus they're already probably moaning I haven't visited them in ages.
Well I need to go fix up my scriptys now. So I expect to be here for quite a while!
