I'm in work at the moment trying to stay as quiet as possible. Last night Blaine and I went to Whole Foods to get dinner, and the damn lasagne and salad I got somehow made me chip my back tooth(!). My lower right molar to be precise. So now I have a razor sharp tooth edge which my tongue is constantly being caught on and it really hurts.
Both Brian and Blaine are in the office at the moment, and have sensibly suggested I look up some dental treatment. The long and short of this being if I don't go today or tomorrow to wait for advice on what dentist to see, I'll be stuck eating soup and in pain for two days; or if I wait till Monday and speak to my insurance company and some people in the office, I can get a good job done... To be honest it's quite a tough decision. Especially as I don't know which Dentist to go to here.
I got an email from Jess before I left work yesterday evening and I gave her a ring earlier today to see what she was still up for going out somewhere this weekend. But now this tooth is beginning to get on my nerves, I don't think it would be a whole load of fun! Might even have to text her cus talking hurts.
I've just popped out on the middle of writing this to go to Rite-Aid. I guess the nearest thing to this place we have in the UK would be Superdrug (and not Boots). I picked up some dental wax and have moulded my self a rather fetching 'temp-o-tootho' which is capping the sharp edge for now. I dont think it will survive food or drink, but I've also bought some DIY filling stuff if it becomes too much of a problem. Additionally I've sent out an email to everyone in the office looking for recommended dentists.
And I've also rang Jess to cancel with her. This weekend sure is shaping up to be something special!
On a plus note, I've decided to try and organise a trip out to a baseball game this week for anyone in the office who would be interested. I'll let you all know how that goes.
