The Night Before Takeoff

As a bit of an introduction: this is a blog to keep track of me whilst I take my first trip across the pond to Bellevue, Seattle in the great state of Washington.

So why should you want to be here? Well, I'd like to think people are interested in why I'm over here, partly because (at the time of writing) I don't have a clue myself. And mostly because I will be posting pictures of me in unlikely circumstances (i.e. working, drinking American Beer, talking to yanks and humoring American Customs).

So here's what the septics would call a 'game plan' (a term not even cosseted by Futbawl):
I get on a plane, having already checked in the night before, at 2pm on Sunday. I then arrive in Seattle at 4pm (Pacific), will be picked up by the CTO (chief Technology Officer), taken to my hotel (The Red Lion Inn, Bellevue) and at which point I will direct the majority of my packing to the complementary laundry service, tip the bell boy a stick of used gum (a la Home Alone 2), and watch the new Simpons, Family Guy, American Dad and futbawl until I finally fall asleep about 5am GMT.

As from there I have absolutely no idea what I will be doing. So don't miss tomorrows exciting episode of "KEV GETS DONE BY CUSTOMS FOR IMITATING CASTRO".
