Non stop...

Sorry about the lack of posts. We've been pretty much non stop since we got here and I don't have Internet on my phone which has made finding restaurants and shops a complete mystery.

Yesterday we went a massive outdoor shopping district called Woodbury Commons. It's a premium outlet, so it's like the factory sales for every highstreet brand. We had to get the coach from Midtown around 8.30 am and were there till 3. It was pretty busy and seating for lunch was more like a territory war than a typical canteen.

Met some girls from Leeds on the way home and they suggested a place for dinner which came in handy. After a bit more shopping and some dinner we went to an Irish bar which had no soul at all; so obviously we Irished up the place!

Few beers in the hotel in the evening and then off to bed for an early start. Didn't happen. Rolled out of bed at 9 and eventually the four of us made it to Andy and Dan's apartment. We went to the natural history museum and spent a few hours wandering around there as well watching an IMAX film about the Hubble. After that we went to the top of the Rockefeller which was amazing.

Spent more time walking around town and spent a bit more time looking at the new World Trade Centre building project which is already looking impressive.

Went to Little Italy for a fantastic meal. We had been wandering around Penn and Madison Square Gardens looking for somewhere before giving up and venturing down to the lower East side. Took a little while to get home as we accidentally got the express train and technically we ended up in our forth Borough, the Bronx.

Tomorrow we're hoping to get a Ferry out to Liberty and Ellis Islands. Aside from that we don't have much of a plan but so far that approach has been working well for us!
