Working from Freemont

We're not even half way through our trip, but it's been pretty busy so far!

Monday ended up with three of us, Shaun, Rachel and I, drinking in an Oirish bar opposite Joey's. The sort of place that doesn't actually contain anything Irish, but had 'diddly-diddly' music and some pictures of Guinness on the wall. It was pretty enjoyable until we got a new waitress, who was more interested in making tips from a group of Mariners supporters. That's probably the biggest problem with the service industry here. The best service goes to the highest bidder.

Yesterday we went to the Kangaroo and Kiwi, an antipodean pub in Freemont . There was a pub quiz that Rachel, RachelV, Kyle, Shaun and I took part in, and we were a long way from winning to put it nicely. Was interesting hearing a British voice announcing the quiz though.

Today the plan is to work from Freemont (possibly visiting another bar, The George and Dragon) and then see how things go from there. Maybe I should wear my Fulham shirt...
