Wonder what Bristol's like?

Hello Readers,

First off, I should apologise for not posting yesterday but as I predicted, there wasn't a whole load of goings on. We had another early start yesterday, and we're all getting quite used to fitting in to Richards car (photo to come, I promise). Work was non stop, which was quite fun, but unfortunately, I missed lunch as I was helping with some remote testing. Didn't bother me as I knew we were out for a meal that evening.

Blaine and Rachel came up to Bristol from London yesterday to do some field testing and to meet the big cheeses in the Office. It was good to see Blaine again, and even with the large work effort on at the time, we managed to discuss Fantasy American Football Drafts for a few hours.

Aside from all that I spent most of the time cooped up in the little office. We were supposed to leave a little bit earlier so we could meet our 'clients' for dinner but didn't end up leaving till the last minute, giving us enough time to drive back to the hotel (Blaine and Rachel had to get a taxi) drop off our stuff and make a dash for the restaurant.

The meal was really good, and we all did very well to avoid discussing business. In fact I don't remember talking business at all. Makes a great change, and everyone had a really good night. I'm sure there was an embarrassing comment I was supposed to quote, but thanks to my memory, they (whoever they are) shall be spared. I had a rather 'fish' dinner, but it was really good. I even had desert but so did everyone else so I didn't feel guilty. So after a big dinner and a late chat we started to drift out. We weren't out too late, but I can't remember the time. Rhonda, Richard and I all walked back to the hotel and pretty much went straight to bed. Well I did, but Rhonda had to write reports and Richard had a call to his wife in Japan, so I'm guessing neither of them had an early night because they said they were pretty tired this morning.

It was actually a treat this morning to have a 30 minute lie in. I pushed this to nearly an hour at the expense of my Breakfast. We went straight to work and well I've been sitting here since. Work is going fine, but I'm guessing the tiredness will catch up with me this weekend. On Monday Shaun will be starting at my company which I'm quite looking forward to. And Blaine and Rachel will be hear all next week so we'll probably go out for a meal or something. Nice to be able to look forward to social occasions especially during these trips.

Well I'm gonna go get a free machine coffee to perk me up a bit. I might post again if I find out anything interesting!

Pictures to come,

-Kev
